CAPAPA is a not-for-profit professional association that was established in response to the growing demand for — and recognition of — Canada's information access and privacy professionals in the private and public sectors.

Established in 2002,CAPAPA is governed by member-approved Bylaws and is managed by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors from across Canada.
